My girls are Cassie and Heidi. they are both tortise shells. Cassie is a fixed pure breed absinian that i rescued from the shelter, Heidi is part egyptian mau, i rescued her from the streets when she was only 3months old. They are the funniest cats i have ever known, my oldest Cassie is a spaz she looks anorexic, and i swear she has A.D.D. she will be in the middle of a pounce and forget what she is doing. The baby by 3months is Heidi and she is so cute and she knows it to. she has a tendancy to chirp at you rather then meow, and the best part is she will sit and talk to you in her chirppy way. she also likes to say HI and NO alot. they are just like a pair of toddlers and i tend to treat them like kids. i get them b.day presents and x-mas presents, and like kids they go looking for them and  when they do get thier gifts they are just as bad as human children. they play with it for a few minutes then look around for more. i love them with all my heart and could not imagine my life without them in it. if yu want to see them i have recenly add them to my album.i'm sure you'll agree they are adorable.

I have a Ziggy too!

Hey all!  My partner, Kim, and I have 4 cats (and 1 dog) between us.  2 cats are hers and 2 are mine.  I have Ziggy (grey tabby seen in my profile photo) and Mylo (black and white, very fat, we call him cow kitty).  Kim's cats are Tuxi (black with white paws and stomach) and Buddy (because Tuxi was alone for awhile and needed a friend).

We currently have two cats, Lacey--a 19 year old domestic shorthair, and Sammy--a 9 year-old ragamuffin (both females).  There used to also be a "Cagney" but she passed away from old age last year--she was a ripe old 18 years.  We also have a foster cat, Skye (a stunning 2 year old long-haired Siamese) who came into our home on Christmas and will be with us until August.  I'm afraid that when Skye goes to live with her real parents, we will have to adopt a 3rd cat.  Each of them have their own quirks and personalities.  I swear, if my partner would let me, I'd be that "crazy old cat lady" we always hear about on the news!  Our cats were beginning to act their ages until Skye came along.  She's still so young that she gets both of ours to play with her.  She will grab a piece of string and run with it, which, of course, makes the other cats chase her.  Ours are constantly being ambushed by Skye as they walk past her hiding places.  At first, I was worried about this, but they seem to have come to an understanding between them.  Mine seem more relaxed and more active now--I think they missed their "sister" who died last year.

Lacey is the little lover.  She loves EVERYONE and must investigate every person who enters my house.  She likes to sit on the back of the sofa and tangle herself up in my hair.  She also goes nuts when I get ice from the icemaker.  She thinks she MUST have crushed ice in her water bowl.  In the middle of the night, she "gets lost" and will squawk horribly until we call her upstairs.  Sammy is afraid of strangers.  When no outsiders are in the house, she must be draped across my lap and sleeps on my legs at night.  She has the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen.  Skye, though she is our foster-baby, has really won my heart.  She fights Sammy for possession of my lap and must follow me as I go from one room to the next.  She is surprisingly quiet for a Siamese and must sleep beside me whenever our dog, Davey, allows her on the bed.  Sammy was horribly afraid of Skye when Skye first arrived.  I had to go out of town on business, which forced Sammy into a deeper depression and she ended up getting pretty sick.  She dropped from around 16 lbs to 9 lbs--a huge difference in a short amount of time.  Skye stuck by her side the entire time I was gone.  By the time I came home, the two of them were inseparable.  I think Sammy will miss Skye when she leaves as much as I will.

Well we have one cat only. Her name is Chloe & she's a Persian/Himalayan mix.

Totally devoted to both of us & loves attention, plays ball with us (Yes she will return it if you toss it to her), sleeps with us but gets quite testy if either of us move around too much, her favorite thing is to be carried around, BUT she's not a lap cat.

She's fascinated by water & has her own water fountain. Everytime I water the plants she follows ne around to get a sip out of the water spout!! Every morning we have to turn the bath tap on for her drink ritual.

She is very vocal & has an uncanny way of communicating with her voice & her look. We are generally able to understand what she says!!!  Well, maybe this is because my partner thinks she was a cat in a previous life. She would also like to return as one next time as long as she has Lesbian or gay servants!

I have three cats as well. Shaky, Panyc and Cheza. Sharky is a year old. He's a big baby most of the time. If you watched him for a little while you would soon see why he is named Sharky. He loves to attack. (Playfully, of course). He still loves to play with my dog Jessie when i allow her inside. Shark doesnt just pounce tho. He circles in for the kill, then lunges. When he was little, I was laying on my mattress and he ket circling it. All I could see was the tip of his tail (like a dorsel fin). Then suddenlly....attack. Then he was circling again. When he charged up the side of the bed or couch, he has his head tilted way back showing you just his chin. Again I was reminded of a shark.

And then final proof he must have been a shark in his past life.....he loves water. He comes running any time he hears water. He plays in the toilet. And I can never take a bath or shower without him joining me. He doest let it get to his chest, but he'll stand in it and play. And bath time keeps him amused too, perching on the side.

Cheza has joined him on the side to perch too. But I can see her glancing at him like "This....is fun? Are you sure?"

Cheza is a calico. She's about 5 months old. Panyc is probably 6 or 7 months - but im guessing. Cheza loves to cuddle (might just be the blanket tho). Panyc has been slower to cozy up. I can carry Sharky, flip him on his back and hold him like a baby. He doesnt care. Panyc and Cheza dont like to be carried. Cheza might stand it for a second. Panyc was freaked the moment I got her. EVERYTHING sent her into a panic, hence the name. Pan is the one who likes to knock stuff off the counter...especially if she thinks it will make a big crash. (I still have to replace a couple casarole dishes that she broke.)

All three are facinated by the coffee pot. Chez thinks she is going to get some...always trys to steal mine but it makes her hyper for an hour. lol. I really should snap a pic sometime when they are crouched around it, staring.

I have two cats - Sidney and Ziggy.  Sidney is female and the dominant of the two.  She's about 1/2 the size of Ziggy, but can easily kick his aS*!  They get along very well, although clearly he's more into her than she is in to him.  Sound like anyone you know?  Despite being 8 and 7 years old, they wrestle like kittens, and every once and a while I see them cuddling and bathing each other, which as a "mother" gives me one of those "ahhhhh" moments.

How does the three cat situation work out?  We currently have 2 and are considering adoting a 3rd.

Bixby, better known as Mr. Bix, is very huge, but very sweet.  He needed a brother so we also have Samwise Gamgy, better known as Sammy.  Sammy is black with one white toe and he purrs all the time.  They don't really play in the conventional sense.  Their favorite thing to do is push things off counters just to see what happens.

Well here is a little about my cats. I have 3 and their names are Max, Shea, and Felix. They are all different in their own way. Felix will get into everything he can. Shea is older and pretty much sleeps all day and Max is one of the few cats I know that play fetch.
