We're getting the insurance.  We figure what's a few more hundred bucks among the thousands. Smile   My partner was told that on one of the cruises a medical evacuation was necessary with a helicopter, etc. -- it was all covered because they bought the travel insurance.   Goddess forbid any of us should need it, but as the expression goes, better safe than sorry.

This will be our 3rd Olivia cruise, and we get travel insurance every time we travel. You want to keep in mind that many American health insurance companys have extremely limited, if any, coverage in a foreign country. And as a seasoned traveler, you just never know what might happen.

I hope you enjoy the cruise--you'll have a blast!

Hey!!

We just signed up to go on this trip and we are so excited!! We are olivia virgins and cruise virgins too. So, We have lots of questions.

What does everyone think about the travel insurance. We aren't sure if it's something we need to be doing or not.

Thanks a lot, Monique and Amber
