The one thing that bothers me about the new slogan is that, for those of us who live partially, or all the way, in the closet, it's a threat of possible outing if literature or a Magalog etc is left around. The slogan just "jumps" out at a straight person!! Feel Free doesn't

I have to admit, I don't care for the new slogan. "Where lesbians go" just sounds too exclusive. What about those who bring their mothers, sisters, or other female friends on Olivia trips? Or what about those women who do travel with Olivia who identify as bisexual? "Feel Free" sounded inclusive, and at the end of the day, isn't that what we are all striving toward? We travel solely with Olivia because it DOES afford us that rare opportunity to feel completely free and uninhibited.

Granted, the new slogan isn't going to prevent us from traveling exclusively with Olivia, but I sincerely don't believe it projects the image we all want to achieve.

I concur. This last cruise was really something.  The love and the warmth and the comraderie and "feel free" atmosphere was ever-present.  The appreciation of the Olivia staff for all of us who travel was more apparent than ever and the entertainment and "feel" of this last cruise was undeniably special.

Olivia still creates a uniquely wonderful opportunity to "Feel Free" but it is also expanding to become a place "Where Lesbians Go" for many things - whether it be travel, entertainment, information, community, etc.  Not everyone lives in a place that provides the opportunity to feel free OR to be a place where lesbians go openly. . .changes in marketing slogans and tag lines won't deter us from being active with Olivia.

I and my partner are as excited and eager as ever to plan our next Olivia trip/vacation. We are still feeling the love!  I would urge everyone to join in Olivia's 35th Birthday celebration by taking a cruise or vacation THIS YEAR!

We just returned from our 7th Olivia cruise & it was the best ever. We now look forward to #'s 8 and 9.

Names/slogans might change but to us the quality, service, entertainment, great fun are still there. Thanks to Judy, Jill,Tisha and all of the Olivia staff for so many good times.

Has "Feel Free" left the building along with Ollie?  "Where Lesbian Go" is OK...but hey, we go everywhere...Olivia was one of the only places we could "feel free"...just wondering...

I'm trying to be open to all of the changes...both small and big...but I'm not feeling it like I used to...maybe it's just me...I don't know...but this is the first time in a very long time that we don't have a vacation scheduled...kind of sad actually....
