Gays & Lesbians have pondered for years on whether or not their favourite stars, singers etc are "family". Don't know why except maybe because we admire them we would like to think we have that in common.
Until they themselves are comfortable coming out I guess we shall continue to ponder.

Absolutely.. I agree it could only be beneficial to the community. Just saying until she comes out on her own, if she even is gay, no reason to speculate to try and find an answer when she hasn't come out on her own publicly. Just my opinion! :) Susan

Thank you for your comments Susan. :D I absolutely enjoy her as a fan and will continue to enjoy her whether she's gay, straight, bi, whatever.

However, if she is a lesbian and someday chooses to come out publicly, I believe it could only prove to be beneficial to her career and to the GLBT community. Perhaps I'm naive or just really optimistic but I feel that the power of celebrity can only help the GLBT community in our pursuit of equal rights globally.

But that's just my opinion. :cool:

My thoughts are, if she hasn't come out to the public, let her be. Not everyone wants their sexual orientation to be made known to the world. Just enjoy her as her fan, whether she is straight or gay. Just my 2 cents! Susan

So I've been trying to figure out if KT Tunstall is a lesbian. There has been some speculation about it on some internet postings I've found but there has been no definite answer. KT herself has yet to confirm or deny the rumors that have been circulating about her sexual orientation. Her album cover clearly shows her wearing rainbow suspenders and I did notice that she was wearing a rainbow necklace during her Live Earth concert performance on Saturday.

Any thoughts?
