Ok - The Girls From Oz are having their reunion this weekend down the Gold Coast at Walshie and Missy's place.   We're meeting at the local surf lifesaving club for lunch and pre show drinks, then it's back to their place for viewing of video's and slide show's from our trip.  Missy has put together stuff from all our photos/videos etc. 

Amongst this I'd say we will have a few quiet drinks.    Once the sun goes down we'll be setting up our own Crow's Nest on their balcony which has views of the ocean.    The only difference is we won't be rocking from side to side and we won't have the fabulous company of everyone else!

CAN'T WAIT to get back with everyone.  Not that I haven't seen them all - except for Kelda and Cath who live on the other side of the continent.  I spoke to them for ages Friday night but it's not the same. 

BTW - have sent off to book for the reunion cruise!!!!

Happy 4th of July Everyone!

Sounds like everyone is having a very busy summer this year! I'm finally home for a full six-weeks for the first time in almost 2-years. I needed this break and my dog is very, very happy not seeing any suitcases in my bedroom!! I worked a trip to Portugal with Ali in the beginning of June, then went to Paris with her to meet up with some friends of mine for 5-days, then back to England to greet my brother's flight! He LOVED England and now wants to return to do some pheasant hunting this Fall with some people we know over there! On Saturday evening I'm having about 14-people for a huge crab feast that I am having. I'm having the crabs shipped directly from Maryland so it should be the real deal. Have a tent going up in my backyard as well as a Tiki Bar and they are leaving them up until Monday morning. No doubt my backyard will be the talk of the neighborhood after this little soiree!! Here's to the crabs!!!! He, he! I'm getting two bushels so if anyone is in the Palm City, Florida area and wants to stop by for some crabs and beer, I'll have plenty!)

Ali will be here for two weeks arriving this Friday and I have no idea what we will be up to other than getting some stuff done around my house. I won't see her again until August 14th when I go back over to help her prepare for our Yank friends arrivals on the 17th!! Once everyone arrives we will be taking a "Virgin" train up to Edinburgh for 3-days to let them experience The Fringe Fest and Edinburgh Castle on the 21st-23rd! Should be a ton of fun watching them struggle with the differences in the way we our two countries speak. I know they'll find the Scottish very difficult to understand, but you know what they say about all that??? Two countries seperated by a common language....They will soon see just how different we are!!! To cap off their trip it will be Pride week in Manchester and it's a big one too. One of the largest in Europe. Last year's was fantastic and I'm sure this year's won't be any different, just better! So....that's all my news. I'm hoping Stumpy and Co., are practicing their bun-darting as I'd hate to beat her so convincingly as we did on that stinkin' cruise!!! NAF, you still in fighting form??? Hope so baby!1 I'll be working diligently with both Lifeluver and Regina in preparation for next year's cruise just so we can keep our edge!

And Stumpy, how right you are....I think our arrival in England will go something like this..."the Yanks are here, the Yanks are here....put your earplugs in....!!! Oh well, those Brit's need a bit of an American infusion to keep them from gettin' to booooooooring!!! He he. Cheers to all our UK friends!!!

Hey ladies!!!! How the heck have you all been???!!! I am sooooo sorry I haven't been on. I have been doing other things I guess. It's official!! I am a small business owner!!! "Street Savvy" has been born!! YEAYYYY!! (holds up a toast) Needless to say, that has been keeping me busy! Also, have been playing a lot of pool and had a GREAT time in Vegas at the tournament! We made it to the finals and ranked about 16th out of almost 100 teams! There were thousands of people there, from all over the world (there were even some Aussies there ;) We played some Canadians and just had an incredible week!! It was one big party outside of the tournament. Wish so much you all could have been there - the only thing different was that we weren't swayin'!!! Well, okay, maybe we were - but it was only after some Rum!! LOL!! Anyway...was just thinkin' bout all of yous and wanted to say hello!!
BRAATY - are you getting excited!! Only one more month and we will be in England!!! YEAYYYY!!! We are gonna have sooooo much friggin' fun!! I still can't believe it!!

Glad the weather is warm in Cal. We've had the coldest June in 50 years or something - heard a comment on the news last night, wasn't really paying attention! Mind you we don't get snow so there's no comparison to our Canuck friends!

I have a question re the DVD's that we receive. Are they just a collection of photos that are taken over the cruise or do they have "action shots"? If they do then we'd better hope they didn't have cameras in 8013 and 6083!!! :eek: :D Well other than your own... ;)

I have such a thick schedule...Hey Laydeez...I went to Costco to get some of my photography developed/printed so I could frame some of it for the first time...I was nervous to try this...I went there and the girl there told me that I just put my disc in the machine and pick the ones I wanted...So, I did that and I asked how long it would take to print them...the girl said, "Oh, we don't print (those) here"...I was completely confuzed and asked what exactly the machines are there for ??? She advised me that "they" do not print "Porno" :D
She was young...I told her that it was not pornograhy it was photograhy I showed her my photos and she was very concerned...as I mentioned...She was young...so the hot picture of my girl laying on her stomache with her legs bent at the knees and feet in the air with her steletto hills on...Well, she thought that was porno !!! Funny, Huh ? I asked to (spank) :D ... I mean speak to the manager and she was an older person and asked if I was the photograher and I said yes...so, she had me fill out a photogrher's release / copyright paper and I could pick them up in a day !!! I then retrieved them, safely and I took them to a framing store and I asked these two girls (also, of the younger variety) to frame them for me and they said sure and that they were great prints..
There is a Lesbian club that allows photographers and artists to put their art work up on the walls and sell their work...I actually bought a photo there from one of those photographers and I finally have the courage to try to put mine up there....You might be thinking (I wonder if her girlfriend knows) Yes, I asked permission to do it and she was fine with it !!! So, Satan wish me well you bloody Limey Photographer !!! :D
Right now, I thought Stumpy should know that I have a guy on his way over here to look at the other refrigerator...ya, know Stump just so you can get through today !!!! :D
