IOWA rocks!  VERMONT rocks (totally)!  Awesome forward progress for equality for all!  We're waiting here in California for the hammer to fall from the Supreme Court who really have no choice but to validate Prop8.  I hope to remain legally married; they shouldn't be able to touch the LEGAL marriages before Prop 8.  I know that many people were moved by Prop 8's success in California to work harder on marriage rights in their state.  This is truly the tide of change we need to see; and it is happening very quickly now. 

 Great to hear you all chatting it up again.  Have missed our old forum days.

It's an example of those "good, old-fashioned Midwest common sense and family values" of which the right-wingers spoke so often. . . . perhaps they'll change their tune from now on Kathy and speak of those "solid, conservative California values" - haha!
