Many say it is not worth it, but on the Hawaii trip two couples had to leave, both medical. One had insurance and the other not. For the gals that did not have it, it was quite the blow to their wallet and mental state of mind.

We are so glad you are alright. We have always bought travel insurance "just in case", and fortunately have never had to use it. It's good to know that Travelex will deliver in an emergency. Peace of mind is so important when you're on vacation.

We always buy the insurance (since we're both in the insurance industry) but we've fortunately never had to use it. We're glad to hear it paid off accordingly, but we're more glad you're doing O.K. now and on the road to recovery.
