You know, the asterick thing is kind of annoying but yes, p-u-n-k has quite a bit of roots from country. For instance, Johnny Cash was a huge influence on Social Distortion, and Cuntry Punks of course! I tell ya, I can do a mean cover of Ring of Fire!

As for Cuntry *** tunes, the project has been on hold for a long time, but we're trying resurrect it and have started recodring some of our older songs to put on our myspace accounts.

Any one know a self motivated, hopefully lesbian, musician in Austin that wants to shake up the emerging gay music scene?

where can i hear cuntry punks - itunes? i love the name. not just cos of the double entrendre, but actually because most people don't really get that *** has its roots in country. look forward to hearing more bassgirl.
