What about the night at the Mt Kilimanjaro dinner when Jill (the "Brit", not me) had to "pee" in the bush, and Marg went over to try and help "hide" her . . . only to cover a small part . . . then for her to come back to the table only to discover we had set up a portable bathroom just a few feet away??? :-)

I've really thought hard about "favourite moments" and truthfully the whole things was so wonderful that I am hard pressed to come up with just one. Perhaps the balloon as it took off over the plains in the early hours of the morning. Certainly the laughter, fun and serious insightful conversaitons with our fellow safariers is right up there with the best.

One of my favorite moments was seeing the zebra cross the river to get to the "greener" side. Unfortunately, someone has to be the "brave" one and go first. The first group almost made it across, when a crocodile came out and snatched a baby zebra. We didn't see it, but another group around the corner did, and let us know. The 2nd group got up their courage and went across, and we all cheered when they made it across and beat the fast swimming of another crocodile! There's nothing like watching a zebra swim!

And my next favorite moment was seeing how calm Ann remained when a female lion came walking right up to our jeep, only to find some shade to lay in and Ann didn't scream! :-) Oh, and did I mention getting to witness a male lion chasing off a Cheetah from his territory? Really some great moments!
