The first-annual St. Petersburg Same Love, Same Rights® GLBTQ Wedding
Expo and Mobile Marriage Summit will be held on Sunday May 4, 2008.
The event will be hosted by the beautiful Hilton St. Petersburg
Bayfront, from 12:30 – 3:30pm and is free for the public to attend.
Spotlighting over 50 screened gay-friendly businesses, Music,
Samples, Giveaways and Interactive Presentations, this Same Love, Same
Rights® Expo will provide an exciting bridge for the GLBTQ community
throughout St. Pete, Tampa and beyond to join together in standing up
for Equality. All are welcome! Featured business professionals
participating will represent the Wedding Industry, as well as Travel,
Gifts, Real Estate, Legal Services and more. Couples, singles,
advocates and allies are invited to take part in this day of
Celebration, Activism and Joy.
2008 marks yet another attempt by Florida conservatives to pass
another law banning same-sex marriage. Legislation is set for the
general election later this year… so Now Is The Time to rally together for real ideas on how to stay motivated and enact real change.
Join Us! The Expo will include the Same Love, Same
Rights® Mobile Marriage Summit, bringing grassroots activism back to
