Sure we can, we just need to gather together.  Do a meet and greet, form our own band of womyn.  Maybe we could meet up at the game, or...  any ideas?

Great to hear from you, Inde!!! 

Life has been full for me over here..... My new house construction is coming to an.... end... Yahoo!  It has been quite the year of getting all the preliminary stuff done (design, engineers, surveyor, bldg. permit, etc.   The permit was issued around x-mas time and my contractor and his team have been working hard thru all kinds of weather to get the project done in 6 months.  He is calling for bldg.final/occupancy inspection early next week.  All going well, I'll be moving in shortly after.  I am so excited, as well as exhausted!

Now, in regard to Seattle.... I did not think Olivia would sell tickets to non Fling participants.  So if I can still make it, we should exchange phone/cell numbers closer to the time in order to connect & get together for some fun in the sun(I hope) and to seek out the Olivia gals.

Hey-hey there Mary!  Good to hear from you, how are things going? 

Ok, this is the scoop I got from Olivia when I called them about a month ago, it may of changed, doubt it.  No deals, no side offerings from Olivia for those of us that live local, wild huh?  That makes no sense.  So I am just going to buy a ticket to the basketball game the same night they are and go.  Will see what else is being offered and if want to go when they release more info., but it is up to us locals to run on the side if we want to kinda be a part of what Olivia is doing.

 Ok catch ya later and may see ya down here Mary, and Jean may come down also if she can get time off.   Fun huh.

Hi Tonya, Inde! and Fyre Fyter.... greetings from Nanaimo, Van. Island.... partly sunny & warm today, although we did have a long, cold, wet & windy spring for the 2nd year in row.  Good to see some "fairer" weather here now.

I, too, am looking at this event which will be closer to home for me.  My sister has a place right on Lake Washington, which if workable, I might be able to stay at.  I find the Olivia Flings a bit too pricey for just a few days, plus, one has to add on the "add ons".  For instance, I have been going to Palm Springs for years to watch the Dinah Shore LPGA and now Olivia is planning a Fling there next year.  Well for their price for a few days, I can stay 10-12 days on my own, including the costs of attending the tourney, plus many of the pool parties and final day "clubhouse" party/dance.

As you, Tonya & no doubt some others, I need to research how we can access events/purchase tickets, when not staying with the Olivia group.  If anyone can give direction on this, please do.  I may contact Olivia to see if they will offer tickets to non-Fling participants.... heck, the more the "Marryier", eh!
