Why dontcha try taking a motion sickness pill? It seems quite normal to feel the movement for up to a week but if you are really feeling sick, try the pill. It might work.

The last time I went on a cruise, I had the swaying feeling for about a week or so.  From this Olivia cruise, I'm not swaying that much I am a bit lightheaded now and then.  I think the only cure for me will be to go on another Olivia cruise...I better start saving my money now...LOL!!!  Stick out tongue

I have the same thing but I woke up with a sinus infection and an ear infection on the last day. I ended up with blood blisters on my ear drums from flying with all the pressure. My doctor said to stay away from all edges :-) Hope she feels better soon.

I constantly feel like I'm on a swing!  I went to the Dr's yesterday and he prescribed nova betahistine, so hope it helps.  I'll already have chronic dizziness, so this isn't much fun.

Worth it though, 'cause the cruise was unbelievable!

Keep offering what y'all find works for you to relieve the swaying.

Thanks!

Thanks for all the responses.  It's good to know Bennie wasn't the only one having "land sickness".  She said yesterday she had constant swaying; today the swaying is in & out, so it looks like we're having improvement.  I told her we might not get to go on anymore cruises if she didn't get better.  Now, all of a sudden, we're having a recovery in progress.   Hmmm...LOL Big Smile   I must admit I'd also hate to miss a future cruise.  This was our first and we had a blast.  We loved everything about it - the people, the food, the entertainment, etc.  The Heart concert was absolutely amazing!!  (I forgot how many hits they had).  Vicki Shaw was hilarious!!  This was our first cruise and we will definitely go on another Olivia vacation.

Hope the rest of you have a speedy recovery.

OMG I am still rocking back and forth as well..lol I actually enjoy it, it sort of is like a sleep aid. Perhaps it's my weird way of mentally tricking myself that we are still on the ship enjoying the amazing energy Cool

Gawd I sure miss being on the Westerdam with all you wonderful people!! I have Olivia Cruise seperation anxiety..LOL

I hope for those that are being bothered by the rocking, it goes away soon. If it is making you sick to your tummy, that can't be fun :(

Blessings to you all!

And I thought it was just me.  I find the less I drink the better it gets.  LOL  I guess vacation is over but I did have the time of my life!

My rocking is improving, but still really bad in the bathroom and walking down the hallways at work. Tongue Tied One of the Docs at work said he had it off and on for almost three months after he went on a 7-day cruise! Indifferent They call it "land sickness", and it is more common in us lucky folks who didn't get seasick! Ick! Most of the people I talked to said it goes away in a few days...Yes

Anyone still feel like their rocking back & forth?

It's been two days since we've been off the ship & my partner STILL feels like she's rocking back & forth.  Is anyone else still rocking?  Does anyone know how long this will last or what can be done to relieve the symtoms?  She's taken Dramamine with no relief. (She didn't have any sea sickness whatsoever while one the ship so I'm getting worried).

Thanks for any input.
