Hey Heidi,

We live in Signal Hill, right next to Long Beach.  Tina and I are thinking about tacking on a couple of days at the end of the trip.  Not sure if we want to stay at Club Med for the Club will once again be geared towards the hetero couples and I'm afraid it might be  somewhat of a downer...it will be difficult to see everyone go home and not continue the Olivia experience.   It might be easier to go to another hotel and venture out on our own...Tina is checking that out.  Too bad we can't come a couple of days early and stay at Club Med...Don't think that's an option.

Anyway, we're really looking forward to a vacation.  As you know, the weather has been pretty lousy this year. We love warm temperature and its been a bit cool.  Can't wait to soak in the Caribbean sun and swim in that glorious water.  Have you heard anything about a company on Turks that will boat you over to a secluded beach for the day?  We read about a couple of companies that provide that service in one of our travel magazines and we're thinking about doing that during our extended stay.

 Lisa and I also have some canine senior citizens.  I have a wonderful pet sitter that spoils the dogs while I am gone and calls me twice a day to let me know how they are doing.

I am so ready to be there!!!!!!

You really should consider going longer because once you are there you will wish you had booked another week.

What a terrific idea....2 glorious weeks in paradise!  We went to the Club Med Resort at Eleuthra several years ago and we have such wonderful memories.  I've heard so many great things about Turks - I wish we too could go for both weeks.  We have two 'senior dogs' and don't know if we could be away so long.  Something for Tina and I to talk about!  Got my flip flops and snorkeling gear ready to go!  Too bad is still a long way off..we're ready now...Laurie

 Lisa and I live in So Cal and we will be going to both Turks trips.  We are so excited.

We booked our flights last week.  We went to the Turks in 2005 and loved it!  The beach is beautiful like baby powder.  Snorkeling in Grace Bay is great with lots of turtles.

I would definitely stay longer.  We went for 6 days our first time and we were very sorry, so this time we are staying for two weeks.  The entire time at Club Med.  Can't beat the all inclusive deal.

Cannot wait... counting the days!!!

Good morning...Tina and I finally made the decision to go to Turks II - we were also considering the Caribbean Cruise later that same month, but the all inclusive, relaxing atmosphere won out!  Too many choices, too little time!  Anyone from Southern Ca., Long Beach area signed up?  If so, have you made travel  plans yet? We're still in the planning stages, so if you have any suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated. Also, we're thinking about adding on a few days at the end of the trip...is it best to stay at Club Med or check out another hotel.  We both love to snorkel-how's the beach? Only 7 more months and counting. This will be our 7th Olivia vacation.  Can't wait...let's chat- talk to you soon.
