You can actually check out the excursions through the Holland America website.  They have an e-brochure for each region...this cruise will be in the western Caribbean and all of our ports are listed with the excursions offered.

However, through our experience on the last cruise, not every cruise offers every excursion in the brochure.  On our last cruise, one of our ports was Cozumel and we really wanted to book the Dolphin Swim Adventure.  Well, the more interactive excursion we wanted to book was not offered on our cruise, only a dolphin encounter so we actually ended up booking the Dolphin Swim Adventure on our own with a bunch of other ladies from the cruise.  It was tons of fun and it was much less expensive!

We won't actually be able to book our excursions for this cruise until about 30 days prior so you've got plenty of time to think about what you want to do in the ports.

This is the first Olivia cruise for me and my partner.  How and when will we know what excursions are available on the Funrasier cruise?

We've snorkeled Turks this year and St John Last year.  Will snorkel for sure next March.  Horses aren't offered with Olivia because of mistreatment of the animals.  We deep sea fished in Cozumel and had one catch but a beautiful sailfish.  You don't have to plan anything on Half moon cay - the beach is powder fine and it's just our group.  Lots of 'scenery' the Olivia Olympics are enough for Lori and I anyway...

I have been snorkling in the Caribbean and it is wonderful so I'm sure we will do that..  My wife, Cindy,  has always wanted to go horseback riding on the beach so we will probably do that, too.  We both enjoy learning something about the local culture, so perhaps we'll do a tour on one of the islands.  We love the outdoors so hking is always part of our vacations.

I know not all of the stuff is offered on every cruise, so we'll have to see.

It's nice having others to chat with.  Makes the long wait a little more fun!!

Hi everybody. I was wondering what others were hoping to be able to do when we get the chance to go to shore. We are hoping to do some deep sea fishing, i have always wanted to land one of the big ones. We also want to get some snorkeling in. I hear the coral reefs are amazing. There were tons of things listed on the ships website, it made it hard to choose.

So, whats on everyone elses mind? Relaxing, hiking, history?
