Hi everyone - I lead the team at Olivia that maintains and enhances the website and I appreciate the request for more communication on that topic!  I've started a new topic called Updates to Olivia.com where I've provided more information on this.  I welcome your comments!

Stumpy,

Great ideas...I would even pay you three bobs for those.

To go one step further (I think), perhaps a link on the Connect home page to "new Improvements, new ideas, announcements etc or anything that might fit into this category."

For example, the retention of the "sent" messages could have been posted on that link.

I agree Stumpy, your two bobs worth is a valid point. Keeping Connect users up to date on changes/improvements would indeed be appreciated................

It's great that Olivia and listening and making changes BUT the thing they still need to improve on is communicating to their customers that these changes are occuring.  eg

Tell us about the forums held on the Jan cruise - there are more than 100 people on the March cruise using the forums that didn't know this was/did happen.  We stumbled upon it.

Tell us the specific improvements that have occurred and when, don't let us find out for ourselves.

Tell us what is still to be improved.

One of the biggest factors for Customer Satisfaction is "keeping the customer informed".  Put a notice on the Connect home page, go into the most popular and active groups and post a topic when something happens.

 These are such easy things to do which go a long way in keeping people happy.   We do appreciate that Olivia is improving and listening.  I'm just suggesting how to improve the whole experience.   My two bobs worth (free consultancy) in assisting to improve perceptions, and it's all about perception.

Evergreen,

I have just noticed that myself and am glad for it.

 

We have said it before, but it bears repeating....that Olivia is listening as shown by the Focus Groups that you & I participated in during the Jan 2008 Caribbean Dreams cruise.   The IT staff (and once again I am sorry that I forget your name) even asked to keep the handwritten notes that you & I brought to the session.  To me..that says 'dilligence' in a job! 

I know that Judy and the Olivia staff are listening !!  Thanks.

Anyone notice that there is a change to the Message Center?

It now has a seperate section that shows all of your "Sent" messages.

YES!!

 

They are working through our suggestions..........
