I am interested in the zip line tour. I checked out the website. Looks like loads of fun.

But how do you know what day to book for? It should be booked before I leave, but I have no idea what kind of activities will be going on at the club.

I don't want to miss anything. Ha.

Plus I would like to pick a day where other "family members" will be going.

Excited for my first O vacation!!!!!!!!

We are interested in a fishing trip about mid-week. Would like to do a shared charter with all women. If anyone is interested in sharing costs and doing this, let us know.

No doubt Montezuma can ruin a vacation. Ever since we did the Ixtapa trip, where at least 1/4 of the people had 'issues' (and they never ate off site) we are sure to take Imodium with us.

We have discovered over the years that it is less expensive to book excursions directly and not thru the Club Med. If you don't mind taking excursions with the general public it is the way to go. We have booked an excursion called "maya encounter." It includes transportation from the club, it goes to Coba, a zip line, rappelling into a deep cenote, kayak or canoe on a lake, lunch, a mayan ceremony and transportation back to the club. Check out http://www.alltournative.com/tours-products/maya-encounter. We are going Monday the 5th. If you call the 800 number instead of reserving online you get a 5% discount. A friend of ours did this tour a couple years ago and loved it.

7:00 AM - 8:00 AM
Pick up and departure for Coba.

9:30 AM
Arrival at Coba. We will enjoy a two-hour guided tour including a visit to Maya temples, the legendary ball game area and the Nohoch Muul Temple (the tallest pyramid in the Yucatan).

11:30 AM
Departure for the Maya Village.

12:00 PM
Arrival at the Maya Village. We will have the opportunity to see how the Mayas live and experience with these wonderful people an adventure in their natural world. Together with the locals we will:

Walk through their forest, learning of the local fauna and flora
Enjoy a zip-line, flying over an incredibly beautiful Cenote
Rappel down into another Cenote
Canoe/kayak on a wonderful lagoon
Enjoy a refreshing swim
Enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the local Maya women

05:30 PM - 6:00 PM
End of the expedition.

This is my third Olivia trip and I am stoked for this trip. I will definitely be doing the Zip line and I am looking for a scub diving buddy. Is anyone planning on diving on this trip. If you are I would love to hook up and perhaps we could plan a couple dives together.

Has anyone checked into excursions.

Poker alice i believe you mentioned a zip line tour. I am interested in that if you are still planning it. I am also looking for a horse back riding on the beach. My gf has never been horse back riding and would be so surprised if i planned something like that.
