I know I am also a little late on this one too..But we love to play cards, Joyce my partner loves to play any kind of card games, she love spades, rook, and games like that..So anything new would be great too..

If I'd known what I know now, I would have booked the flights earlier for sure.  Have already looked into going earlier on stand-by, but with it being Spring Break, it isn't looking good.  Not to mention the odds of your checked luggage not making the trip.

Never heard of quiddler - but I haven't heard of half of these games. 

As for the precruise party - we don't get into FLL in time, but we might swing by the bar after we get checked it, etc.

Woo Hoo--gifts from Mom--you're set!  What is a "light" version of Rummykub?  Tiny or just thinner tiles?  Do I have to bring my readers?!  Did you see that there's a new Cranium game out?  Looks fun!  I'm getting so ridiculously excited about this trip and meeting everyone!  I don't know how I'm going to get through hosting 29 people on Sunday....all I want to do is get to next weekend!  [straightens clothing, smooths hair] Ahem, sorry, I'm fine now!  Big Smile

Everyone got their games packed?  Lori's mom actually got us a brand new set of pigs and a 'light' version of rummykub for the trip..

Lori and I will probably be in red and white and white and blue stripes on Sunday after lifeboat.  We will always take our red and black Olivia bag with us everywhere.  We are easy to recognize and almost always dressed alike evenings and we really spend a lot of time on the Lido deck.  Jayne

handylynn, the people who participate on these message boards are meeting on the Lido (libido?) deck, near the dolphins, immediately after the life boat drill.  A couple of us game players were also talking about meeting earlier, before we sail.  But we haven't finalized any details on that meet.

Hey   This is really going to be a fun cruise.  this is my first and I had no idea ther would be so many who liked games.  I love games.  I may need a refresher or instructions on some of the new ones I just read.  I hope ther are other solos out ther to play so we can even up teams.
