Yes, retirement at 43 would have been lovely!  Sigh....

Doing what you love and enjoy has to be a good second choice though!

I always wanted to retire when I was 43.  It's been my eta for retirement.  But I already feel like I'm retired and doing all of the things that I love.  It's amazing.

I love Linda Ellerbee.  There is a woman who has been through much but has kept her humor in tact.

That is my thought for the day.....to always try to keep my humor in even the most difficult situations...

My thought for the day comes from an excerpt of something written by Paul Beattie:

 

When my mind is still and alone with the beating of my heart,

My thought for the day is that Spring is on it's way and so are my hummers, returing home from their incredible journey! 

Soon, it will be time for me to set up their feeders and then sit back and watch the "dance" in the air begin. When I play classical music in the backyard it seems as if they have choreographed their movements to it - so amazing and entertaining!  Have you ever seen their nests (so teenie-tiny, about half the size of those yummy Cadbury cream eggs I see out in preparation for Easter now!)

Ahhhhhh! Brewmax! That is so deliciously yummy! What a cute little pooper! baby girl!!! JoCindy, I used to show so much but burned out. It's exhausting having exhibits. I only make art rarely now for commissions and for gifts. People's homes are my galleries! This piece is in the rehearsal studio of some brilliant classical musicians who own more of my art than anyone should!!! So, I refer to their studio as my gallery. loft

haha. Now I want to see Thelma and Lo....I mean Jill and Bremax in a convertible in the winter singing. I just want to see it. lol! Thanks Brewmax! You've asked for it now! I have lots of art....and lots of photos of it... half of the story my new artist photos by Paul Couvrette!!!!
