New to Olivia? Or have friends on the fence about taking an Olivia trip?
07/05/2008, 10:18 PM

Hi Ladies,

My partner and I love Olivia vacations so much that we have been on MANY Olivia vacations.  So many that Olivia has offered us a really cool deal: We each get $500 off our next Olivia vacation if we can find two women who have not been on an Olivia vacation before and get them to sign-up for a trip.  The two women new to Olivia will ALSO get $500 each off of their trip (for a total discount for them of $1000).  Pretty cool, huh?  Except we do not know anyone in our circle of friends who wants to take us up on this...So, if you are thinking about taking the plunge, we are here to say just go for it!  You will love the Olivia vacation.

OR this is also a really great way to get your friends who are on the fence and think Olivia is too expensive to give it a try... We can only share the discount with 2 lucky ladies...

Please contact me at rkad@sbcglobal.net if you are interested.

PS: I hope you do not mind my posting this here...It really is a great deal!  I just can't seem to find a good spot on the site for this type of networking...Any suggestions are appreciated--We need to find 2 people by December.  However, I hope to do it sooner because we want to go on a trip this Fall, and want to be able to use the discount ourselves.

Hi Ladies!  Can you pass this on to your friends who may want to go on an Olivia cruise?!?

The Purple Bra Brigade is selling chances to win an Olivia trip for two - you choose the vacation (an avg $5,500 value) or receive a $3,500 gift certificate to use for an ultimate adventure or a trip in the future.

The drawing for the Olivia trip is at 7pm Pride Sunday (July 6) at our booth in Atlanta. We need to sell 400 tickets to have the raffle and we're no where near that number yet - so you'll have an incredible chance of winning!

You can go to www.purplebrabrigade.org/olivia.htm to buy tickets online. tickets are only $20.

The early detection in the general population is 95%. Lesbian early detection is nearly half that.

If you'd simply like to donate to a team member walking in the Atlanta Breast Cancer 3 Day - a Susan G Komen for the Cure event - please visit www.PurpleBraBrigagde.org

Hmmm...I would say accept it, specially if earlier on, she was once a friend before a lover..Its v important to realize that u can connect with her in other ways, rather than just a lover...

If your partner has to move to another country for a better career and she really wants u to join her, would you go? specially if you know that she wants u to go wid her.

I would go for character, definitely.

Why? People with character are more interesting & fun to be with. They posess more depth & generally, I believe, are better natured.

OK, would you rather have a big group of friends or one very close friend?

Yes I would re-gift it. I know a lot of people who would love Taboo or Old spice. So if I could with assurance give the gift a better home then mine.. by all means yes.

Question.. you have two women your attracted to... One has a whole lot of money but not much Character. The other doesn't have much money but has great character. which would you choose and why?

Ernesto Guevara why beacuse I would have so been a gurillera. I would ask him why didnt he just follow what he was trully passionate about. And what was it all like the thrill of travelling of trying to make all latinos one and having your dreams altered and thrown out the window..... i would ask so many things.

question: If your ex befriend you on a site your one but does not talk to you but flaunts her new relationship is there a point in keeping them as a friend? lol idk if that is much of a question or a plead for advice :)

Oops--forgot to ask a question!

If you could spend an hour, talking to ONE person (dead or alive), who would it be and what would you talk about?

Favorite childhood memory with someone really old? That would have to be sitting on the sofa with my grandmother when I was a little girl, leaning up against her, watching the movie "Auntie Mame" (starring Rosalind Russel). For some reason, my sisters weren't there with us--it was just us. I think of that often with great fondness. Probably why that movie is still one of my favorites, to this day.

Going wide-eyed into my first-grade classroom when that important school day arrived.

It was a converted quonset hut on the side of a hill, surrounded by tundra, on the island of Adak in the Aleutian Islands of Alaska.  There was a big white polar bear rug on the floor (very politically incorrect thing now) and what seemed, to my young eyes, to be the most enormous fish tank in which a small octopus and other fascinating sea creatures lived.

Dressed in my pressed little green and black plaid dress, with wide wide collar, I joined less than a dozen other young children in what turned out to be, for me, the beginning of a love affair with nature and learning and language and travel.

What is your favorite childhood memory of, or with, someone "really old"?
