TB Bucs- You have my love's vote there. She is a diehard fan of the Bucs.

and we both love Peyton Manning... so imagine when Bucs played the Colts. We were so mad when we could not watch the game on TV.

We could not believe we could not see it on TV anywhere. The biggest game of the season IN our opinion and they don't even show it anywhere, unless of course it was on the NFL ticket which Time Warner does not even carry.

I am a Giants fan, but Eli is no where as good as his brother Peyton. But I have always been a Giants fan and will always be a Giants fan. Just wish Peyton would come over.

Great question Cool

Our favorite teams:

Tareasea is hands down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because her uncle used to play on that team and then the Colts.

Tami- the Colts because of their excellent play strategy and because my favorite quaterback is Peyton Manning.  My other favorite team is the Tennessee Titans because my family is from Tennessee.  Beyond that I usually cheer for any southern team.....

We are avid football fans.......in fact we are going to Florida in November for Tareasea's birthday to see her Bucs play.  We tried to get tickets to see the Bucs play the Colts in Indy but they were way sold out.....

I love the Titans and am looking forward to Monday's game.  It should be a good one if the real Saints show up and not those imposters who have been playing.  Although, I might not mind too much if the imposters show up.

My next favorite team is any team that plays the Ravens unless of course they are in the Titans' division and then it kills me to have to root for the Ravens.

Jenn and Gwen,

So who were you pulling for last night?  Indy really slaughtered the Saints!  I couldn't believe they lost by so much!  Like you, I also pull for the Saints, so long as they aren't playing my team.

I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to slip away from my honey while on the cruise to check the scores of the Sunday games.  Hmmm....  Devil

Hello fellow football fans,

We are die hard Cincinnati Bengal fans. I can remember sitting on the couch with my dad (single dad raising two kids on his own) brother watching Sunday football eating pizza (it was the only time we got to eat out, though it was a special occasion every Sunday). Met my partner 9 years ago and she turned out to be a die hard Bengals fan too. Bengals are getting a bad rap right now with the criminal activity of some players (DUI, drug possession, etc). It only takes one or two players acting out to put a dark cloud over the whole teams reputation. All the hype with Michael Vick has taken some heat off the Bengals. I am hopeful for a good year. I also vote for the Indy Colts and the New Orlean Saints (when they are not playing the Bengals of course). You can probably find us in the boat lounge on Sunday also watching so football.

KY girls,

Jenn and Gwen

deja2004,

The Bills are a good team... I've always liked (feared) them.  :)

I was a percussionist and played keyboards (marimba) for the Rennisance, a small corp out of Spokane, WA. and the Seattle Imperials.  I only marched for two years, but it was an excellent experience!  Never got to play a nfl half time show, though!  :(

Although a Dolfan (home team)... I'm not against any other team... I wish them the best... until of course they are playing the Dolphins at which point they can suffer a painstaking defeat to rival all defeats.

So go Bills!  I'm sure if I live in Buffalo we would be rooting for the same team.

Hey Barb, what do you play?  I was in the USAF Drum & bugle (played both the bugle and the tri-toms) a long time but it wasn't the same as the big drum corps--like Phantom Regiment or the Santa Clara Vanguard.  Who did you play for?

I'm almost afraid to post this with so many "Fish" fans on this thread, but I'm a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan!  I grew up in Western NY and our marching band (I played 1st trumpet, 1st chair for 4 years) played half-time for two Buffalo Bills games WAY back in the days before Jim Kelly and the dream team.  And this is my absolute favorite time of the year!  So far, we are 1-1 in pre-season, and we're hoping to finish this season much better than the last one.  My partner is a Cowboys and Texans fan, so let me assure you that football season is rather loud in our household.  Big Smile

I used to be in drun and bugle corps and we would tour around the country playing in packed stadiums.  It's a real rush to be down there on the field looking up at a wall of cheering people!!  Ahhh... memories from my youth!  LOL

I'm a librarian and we have a partnership with the Miami Dolphins for our Summer Reading Program... and I am the committee chair for the summer reading program... they do a pre-season on-field presentation to some of the kids.
