Hello K.... I missed answering your question about formal night. Quite often on Olivia cruises there is a "formal night". You do not have to wear a gown or anything special if you are not into clothes. All dress nights are optional. It is just that some women like to dress up in tuxedos, suits, dresses, & sometimes gowns. It is fun to watch. I have just worn some nice slacks and shirt or sweater and feel fine about it. I'm not that into clothes, either. I just like 'em clean. Have a good Christmas. Mary

Merry Christmas to all... and the best to you in the New Year!!! I so enjoyed the Mexican Riviera cruise in '05 and the Hawaii one just this Nov. Now, I have booked the Rosie Jones golf getaway package in Palm Springs in March/07. It is not cheap, but it should be a fantastic golfing holiday with Rosie and her team of pros. I will also get a day at the Dinah Shore LPGA tourney.
In Nov/07., I also booked the Vallarta Palace week in Mexico. Anyone else going there? We have a community forum page,so say hi for either holiday.

Great to hear from the two of you. Another two wonderful WOMAN that we have crossed paths with. Thank you for asking about my well-being but that last night on the ship happen to be the worse for me and the fever I was running in which I never have experienced such feeling in my life. I got back to my normal self about two days later. Well, I have to say that all the good times on the cruise and land overcome that night. I have to see the bright side of it all!
I'm feeling left out since the two of you got a two for one to Costa Rica. Maybe we can fit in your suitcase?

Man I miss that in the morning. Rakefet I completely agree, I was sick for 4 days trying to get my land legs back, while my other half who is from the east coast and grew up being on boats and ferries had no problem.

It was very hard going back to work, actually even getting off the ship and heading into the airport where the atmosphere was back to what we deal with every day.

Bothered me more because there were women from the cruise that appeared to just change having to be back around the rest of society.

We were first time olivia people, can't wait to do it again.
