My little man is diabetic however his enzymes were really high so my vet performed a cat scan.  The cat scan revealed he had large mass on his liver.  I brought him to the Vet Hospital in NC for more testing.  He is on meds and they are keeping an eye on it.  They do not know if it ws the diabetes that caused it or not.  He is doing fine as of this date but still going for tests every 3 months.  Hope this helps you any.

She (Vet) hasn't said yet.  They want to run several days worth of tests on him and I am not sure (given his age) I want to put him through that......... and then he will have to be on medication for the rest of his life...........

 Pumpkin, our Silky, is 9 .. never heard of liver disease being predominant in the little ones but then again we aren't in the animal health field.

 What's Cliff's prognosis?

Cliff has been diagnosed with a liver disease (Vet doesn't know what yet).... has anyone experienced this with their small dog?  (Vet says it is more common in smaller breeds).  Cliff is a Maltese and is almost 13 years old.
