I have a gaming group in which we have various games we all beta and others we try out.

Guld Wars gets high marks.  I beta'd Matrix Online when Monolith owned it but quit after it went live and Sony bought it and destroyed the Live Events.

WoW is cartoony fun, good emotes and game play.

Star Wars would probably be too simplistic...

Greetings back!  I find there aren't too many people in my "demographic" that are into RPGs! Stick out tongue

I have a PS3, and have been playing FFXI on it for a while, since there is no FF game for the PS3 yet...   Not playing it online though.  I find I enjoy exploring the world that someone has created in an RPG, and often, online, it becomes a slug fest.  Maybe I will give this a go at some point.

I have been online with Resistance: Fall of Man on the PS3.  I am not always a fan of shooters, but MAN is that a killer game!  Online, offline, it has fabulous gameplay, very intuitive controls.  I have played that game thru 3 times, up next is nightmare mode...

I would be interested to discuss games.  I am kind of picky, and the normal reviews don't always give me enough info...

 Thanks,

Suzanne

Hi, my friends on the FFXIOnline Ifirit Server call me Tana. (Tananda). I'm a gamer. I love RPGs. I love swords, magic, questing and yes sometimes I love dying. Come on, you know you've had the moment when you sacrifice life and experience points for a friend, a party, or just because youre a hero-at-heart....a total stranger.  Most of the time the deaths do bring much pain and torment to us. But on occaision theres a death that is just too funny, or well worth it.

I am a gamer, and Im addicted. I can admit these facts with pride.

I'm curious to know how many of you 'come out' online. Out to everyone? Or to just a select few? Personally I tend to not out myself to the general populace, but after a long time, I have found myself conversing on more personal levels and coming out.

I have been curious about Guild Wars, Star Wars, (Is Matrix online still in existance?) and WoW. But have been so wrapped up in FFXI that I have not tried the others.

Thoughts? Ideas?

-Sherry
