TC,

Yes everyone pays this fee.  When you get your Olivia documents they call it an entry fee. You pay at the Punta Cana airport when you arrive.

From Olivia documents:

Upon arrival at the Punta Cana airport, you will be required to pay an entry fee of $10 USD per person. We encourage you to have exact change upon arrival. You will receive a receipt for the transaction that you will be required to present at Punta Cana customs.

Does every one need to purchase one of these?  Just want to get it at the airport if necessary.  Thanks!

TKZoey,

You purchase it just before customs when you arrive in PUJ.  Basically it's a tourist tax.  It's $10us.

assuming you are traveling on a british passport, you will need to buy a $10 tourist card on arrival at PC airport. (source = DR london embassy website)

Are you travelling Air France or on a charter? I think we will be on the Air France flight from Paris on Saturday 18th.
