I am sure they can arrange it, I have been on some where it was designated and others not. you will meet plenty of folks at the meetings and be able to hook up at dinner.

There are a bunch of us Canucks traveling solo and at least one of us (me) is a sober sister. 7/20/85 This is my second cruise with Olivia and the first one for all my friends. I'm thinking you will have a totally awesome time...and if you have even a hint of a 'suthen accent'..I'd love to have a chat with y'all. I'm a sucker for anyone from the South. See y'all onboard.

we were just on the Alaska cruise and they had some alcohol free table in the dinning room...so i would guess that they still do

 

My partner and I were wondering, since they are letting you eat anytime for dinner in the dining room, if they will still have the alcohol free tables?  I thought asking some of you who have done this before might know.  This is our first cruise and we are still figuring out the ins and outs.

Really looks like we are going to have some wonderful meetings and plenty of time to get to know one another. This is my 10th Olivia trip and meetings are wonderful on every trip I've gone on....I'll be at the 5:00 meeting as I love to sleep in...

My partner and I are so excited about our 1st Olivia cruise and meeting some sober sisters.  6/7/10

My partner & I will be taking our second cruise. We are SO excited & a good friend of ours (solo) is coming with us. I am a 'sober sister." My last drink was July 30, 1974 probably before a lot of you were born. Last year, I had not planned to go to "Turn it Over" meetings but my SO and I had a tiff early in the trip and boy, did I need that meeting! After that, I went every day at 5 PM because it was so great. It's wonderful to exchange stateroom phone numbers and just to say "hello" or meet for coffee. The early meeting is way too early for me. We get up just in time to call for breakfast room service. LOL Looking forward to meeting you. BTW: the meetings are posted on the daily list of events which is placed in your room the night before.

This will certainly be a trip to remember.....(Taking a trip, not taking a trip) lol   Look forward to meeting you all at the meetings....

Hi Ladies,

I am on the first 40th and this is my 12th Olivia Cruise, every one of the cruises I have been on had meetings. On big ships like this there are plenty of us sober women. They provide space for all 12 steppers, so lots of opportunity to meet friends. I have also seen them provide alcohol free seating at dinners but not for a while. I think people just set it up themselves now. I actually just did Paris and sat with non-drinkers who were not even in recovery. Go figure, there are even some of those, lol
