This year, marriage equality is up for a vote in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, and Washington State. If you live in one of those states, please be sure to vote! If you KNOW someone who lives in one of those states, now is the time to call, email, post on your Facebook page, do something to contact everyone you know in those states and remind them how important it is to you personally that they vote for marriage equality. Your friends from school, your relatives -- every single vote counts. So many people who would support our rights if they knew what to do are uninformed or don't know how much this would make a difference. Even when it's not your state, each state getting marriage equality gets all of us in the US a step closer to full equality. No matter where you lean on any other matter, I think that almost all of us who are part of the Olivia family want equal marriage rights for all.
