Hey Peggy...looking forward to seeing you guys...and your camera too Wink

Inde..here's how you put the link in...and here also is another link to some more maps http://www.mapajeff.com/Puerto_Vallarta_Walking_Map.html

First paste the link into the message body and highlight it...then click on the little "link chain" up above (it will be grayed out unless you highlight the link)

Then in the upper box that opens up...again paste in the link and choose either "open Link in the same window" or "open Link in a new window"...then click insert...that's all there is to it Big Smile

Also an easy way for anyone using MS Internet Explorer...after you paste your link into the message body...just hit <enter> and it will insert the link

Check out this web site:  www.puertovallarta.net  A very detailed map section.

Most of the shopping is by the River Cuale (New Town)  and on the South side of the river is Old Town also know as the Romantic Zone.  Great shops in old town and not so crowded like in new town.

Also there are vendors on a chunk of land located on the river is what is called Isla Cuale, a boutique market called Cuale Island Market that operates every day.   It is between New and Old town, a few blocks up from the beach.

Hope this helps you out.

map of the city

Hi all,

I'd like to print a map of the city to carry with me when walking around, but it's not easy to tell from the google site which area would be considered more commercial or "touristy"; near the city hall along the coast, or the bigger section north of that. Could someone who knows the city of PV please let me know?

many thanks,

Cindy
