Heh! One of my favorite travel stories is when TSA agents went through our luggage in the Orlando airport when we were traveling in between there and St. Croix.  The TSA dude held up each and every toy (some were BDSM implements) and I loudly and proudly described each one and what it was for, laughing the entire time. Poor dude was thoroughly embarrassed when we were done but I had a fabulous time! :D

Now, that is funny.

Yet, it is sad to hear of the other stories.  I just believe that all of you gals will have good luck and no problems.

See you soon!

I am sitting at work reading this and almost fell out of my chair laughing...  Just a couple months ago I left the batteries in and the sky cap in Los Angeles said.. Ma'am, your suitcase is vibrating.  lol...

The people who work at Houston's airport are really rude and uncaring.  A few years back my partner got real bad sunburn on the top of her foot that resulted in swelling, blisters and extreme pain and cellulitis.  At this airport no one would help and get her a wheel chair and had her dump her back pack to search it...we said we are late for the connecting flight and they laughed at us and when we asked for a wheel chair they pointed to the directions where we can find one, by this time Kris was crying and limping but they didn't care.  We finally found a wheelchair and barely made the flight.

I couldn't believe it when I heard about it.  I can't imagine how they felt.  I hope they get a huge windfall from their lawsuit.

This lawsuit was the first thing I thought of when I read this topic.  Very sad that these guys were humiliated like that.

Yes to batteries out of device.  Pack them in a clear baggie, and on top of your luggage, for if it is shipped under the plane it will be opened by the TSA.  If you carry on, your bag will be opened by the TSA, so pack it on top and just tell them if they stop you that it is probable your personal toys they are questioning.  Remember, they have seen it all.  Just make it easy for them to see, and you will go thru the line quickly.

Good luck!!
