Travelling from cancun via Mexico City to puerto vallerta on Aeromexico, flights changed x4 times in the last 8 weeks. Logged in on Saturday; return journey from puerto Vallerta to Mexico city had disappeared completely! Had couple of days panic until Expedia could contact airways to re book me onto a flight.

We (luckily) haven't had any of our flights cancelled, but they (US Airways) did change our flights twice.  I didn't think to go check the price right away so I don't know if there was a pricing difference.
We booked though Travelocity.

Thanks for the head's up! We made our reservations on AA back in January and had no idea that any changes were made. Checked last night and the first leg of both our trip there and our trip back have changed. Luckily it doesn't screw us up too much but our seats that we we able to pick way back in January when the plane was near empty were picked for us and on one leg aren't together and on the other are over the wing...

And we are on flight 1015 from Dallas so see you there!

AA hasn't cancelled our reservations, but they have been changed 4 or 5 times. I called and complained [to a supervisor] and got each of us a flight credit for future travel.

no cancelled flights luckily, but AA has changed our flight numbers and departure/arrival times twice.  im trying to stay on top of updating our travel account on here, so we arent stranded at the airport.  if anyone hasn't checked their flight info recently, its probably a good idea.  i was informed of only the most recent change, the one before that i discovered on my own.

good luck firechic72877!

anyone else on flight 1015 from dallas, see you at the airport!  we cant wait for this trip!

If you feel like reading some...this is AA's Rule 240 policy...air travel's not what it used to be!

Hi there Many years ago I worked in the airline business - if it was an "act of God" - basically weather related, the airline has to rearrange this for you - if you have already purchased.  It's called a "Rule 240" - call the airline and tell them they need to Rule 240 your tickets.  They will know what that means.  Now, it has been years,  hopefully the rules haven't changed.  Good Luck!

What a nasty surprise.!!!!Guess I am lucky to still have flight back to Boston!

E-mail or call to complain.  You should request/demand something for your inconvenience !!!

I made reservation in June with American (Almost went United, but..).

For return to Boston, leave at @ 1 pm and had 1 connection thru Dallas  - back in Boston at @10 pm.

Then I got notice that the reservation changed in July and though still 1 pm to Dallas, the connect was later, so back in Boston at Midnite,   But then worst part was I saw online that the RT fare went down $125!!

Wrote an e-mail to complain.  Reply was in nice words "too bad" about more $$ cost.  But they gave me $50 credit for the later flight arrival.

Then the Return flight went back to original flight arrvial time ion Boston a few weeks later.

BUT I got an e-mail last week and NOW instead of just flying back from Dallas to Boston, I have to go from Dallas to Chicago to Boston, new Boston arrival time is 1:35 AM.      So now it is a 9 hour total trip back!!!

So this is a reminder that I need to e-mail or call to complain, again, even though at least I do have flight.

We are from CT and booked our flights for PV back in April. We are now receiving a call from AA that they have cancelled our return flight home for Saturday. AA advised us that we would have to leave a day early or a day later which would cause further expenses(hotel, shuttle) Is anyone else having this problem? We have friends in Boston, Ma and their return flight was cancelled also.
