Sleddog,

 Thanks for the advice.  Talked to american airlines today and it cost me $150 ($75 for each ticket) but I now I have a credit with them for future travel.  Couldn't get my money back, but at least I don't have to eat the tickets.  Thanks for the advice.  Now if I can just get my trip sold.  I am willing to sell it for a loss. 

So if anyone wants a good deal just let me know.

Hey Rachel...bummed that you won't be able to make the trip Sad
I know a number of friends in the military who weren't able to go for that reason
See if you can at least get the airline to offer you a credit voucher for future travel since you didn't travel on that ticket yet...we've been able to get credit vouchers even on "non-refundable" tickets...talk with a supervisor or higher & let them know why!

Deluxe Oceanview Room for Sale

Unfortunately I must sell my deluxe oceanview room.  I found out today that Puerto Vallarta is located in the state of Jalisco, which is now on the no travel list.  Which means that if you are in the military (which I am), you are not aloud to travel to Puerto Vallarta.  I am trying to work with Olivia, but since I didn't purchase travlers insurance (which I was told wouldn't cover this anyway) I need to sell my trip.  I purchased the trip for $3,996.00.  I am willing to take a REASONABLE offer as Olivia is not willing to tranfer my funds to another trip.  I will pay the $75 name change fee as well.  Please message me if you are interested.  I am extremely bummed that I will not be joining everyone on this trip.  Especially since I have to eat $1200 airline tickets. UGHHHHHH!
