This site explains a bit more about the turtles and conservation projects that take place in PV and other locations in Mexico.

It is a wonderful event to experience.  It happens daily, so go about an hour before sunset.  Please bring cash to donate to this great conservation project, they will collect it down at the project release center.  :)

The turtle release is a short walk from our resort.  I think they do it a few nights a week, so everybody just walks over there.  It is really interesting to see.
