That sounds like a fab concert... I checked out the website. Have to agree with the other girls though that it's a shame it is on that night because we probably won't get there either. We fly into Vancouver about 1915hrs from Anchorage after the pre-stretcher trip so we'll be looking for the hotel, a meal then the pre-cruise party.

We thought about doing this, but decided that 2-11pm on Saturday before the cruise would really take too big a chunk out of our precruise excursions, and since there is so much to do in Vancouver, we have opted out.  Deccided going all the way to Vancouver to sit in a crowd of people would just be wrong, although I'm sure the concert will be fantastic, and so, we have opted to stick to our plans of seeing as much of Vancouver as we can and doing all the other cool stuff that the city has to offer.

If anyone is interested, I just heard that Sarah McLachlan is doing a benefit concert in Stanley Park (about 10 minutes from the cruise ship terminal) on the Saturday night before our Alaska trip.  The website is  www.voicesinthepark.com.  Stevie Nicks, Jann Arden, Hedley and would you believe it Bill Clinton.
