Quite Beaches would be "Mexico Beach".........It is east of Panama City. Thats where I go 9 times out of 10. I also rent a place there for a month or two every fall when the rates are reasonable. Other than a couple of small taverns, and a few places to eat, there is nothing to do but  enjoy the pristine beaches. The place I rented, I found it at VRBO.com (Vacation Rentals By Owner). They do long and short term rentals. St. Joe Beach, which is still a tad farther East of Mexico Beach may be another area to check too........Hope that helps!....Let me know how it turns out!.....Cara

O.K. a bit off subject but I see several of you are from the Florida panhandle... We need a short break before PV... We are looking at Navarre beach... Need a week of no pagers, cell phones, computers, or technology. You get the idea... Been there before and know it is nice... Any other suggestions about where may be nice and quite?

Hey Sleddog.......Yea, I am ready for a good time, like there's no tomorrow! It has been a rough year so far. I just wish this trip was next week...lol.....The resort looks awesome and from what I have read, it will be everything I expect plus more!....Have a great weekend and I will be looking forward to meeting you :)

Howdy Neighbors,....we do  have beautiful beaches. Sure can't argue with that. I have been over to N.O. a couple times and that is always a special treat........Looks like Olivia should know ya'll by  first names according to all the trips tat you've taken!.....I seriously doubt this will be my last one. I have already thought about next year but figured I probably needed to wait and see how the solo thing goes. Not used to being solo so I am not sure what to expect...........Looking forward to meeting ya'll!

We're not from the Panhandle, but are close neighbors.  We are from Louisiana, and have been to Panama City, Destin, Orange Beach, etc. many times.  Love your part of the country. Wink
