3/4 if you count the call I just made reliable..

I do have some added info resurding solo's and airport.

Embassy Suites also offers shuttle service from the Airport. The rates are the same $7 but that rate only applies if you have more than 2 in your party.

For those of us who are solo travelers the rate is $12 each for both the shuttle from airport and shuttle to the port..

Also if using the shuttle service from the airport call 24 (when confirming reservations) hours in advance and then call when you arrive at the airport..

So - First I called the number above and declined to leave a message ....  then, I called Embassy Suites and asked for info about shuttles to the cruise ship terminal.  I was told that on the day of check-in, I could book the shuttle.  That they leave the hotel every 15 min. and cost $7.00 per person.  Then, I waited a day, and made the same call .... and got the same info.  Which puts this info as 2/3 reliable .....

For transfers to the port from Embassy Suites to the port on the 27th of Jan I was referred to 954-235-3423 witch is the shuttle service the hotel recommends..

I called but wasn't able to get a price quote but will keep trying unless anyone else can get past the answering machine to get one.

As you probably know by now, there is no transfer from the "host" hotels and there may be a fee for a sail away party......

I dont know but this is what it says on the Olivia site for this cruise under Vacation Stretchers.  " Please check back soon! We are working on getting all the details just right for you!" Normally if they aren't planning on one they say so.

We've already booked our own vacation stretcher in FLL at our favourite semi gay resort.

Julie do you think there will be a stretcher and this trip?

The larger Olivia trips the depart from the US that I've been on didn't have one and I though that was normal on all trips like this one..

Just about ready to make flight reservations but if theres a possibility of anything pre trip I'll have to wait.. If anyone can offer info that would be appreciated..

I noticed that the Alaska trip later this year includes transfers from hotel to the cruise terminal if you are on Olivia's vacation stretcher.

No details on the stretcher for the 40th on site yet.

Thanks for the responses.  I know that transfers are not covered with the trip itself, but I couldn't remember whether that was part of what you pay for with the host hotel/'trip extension' package through Olivia.  I guess time will tell!

In the 5 trips I've been on I had to pay for the transfers from the airports to the host hotel and from the host to the port on the first 3. The first three trips witch were two cruises that left from the US and a resort. The resort trip I paid to get from the airport to the resort but it was also the host if you arrived early you still had to pay.

The last two trips I went on were Ultimates and I paid for the transportation from the airport to the host hotel, but didn't have to pay from the host hotel to the port. Also if you arrived the day of the trip Olivia did provide a transfer from airport to port.

On all 5 trips I've been on Olivia provided the transfers to the airport if leaving the last day of the trip..

The next trip I'm going on I have to pay from the airport to hotel/port as I'm not using what is set up by Olivia. If my pre trip plans were provided by Olivia, Olivia would provide the transfers.

I guess it depends on the Olivia trip. Being as this trip leaves from the US I'm thinking that more then likely we will have to pay unless we arrive the day of the cruise and go directly to the port. Not a 100% sure on that as I always get in a day early..

I'm sure other Olivians can offer more input as the above is based on my experiences with Olivia..

The host hotel if offed could be posted at any time..

Does anyone remember this from past trips?  If you stay at the host hotel, are any transfers (airport to hotel and/or hotel to cruise port) included in the rate?

Anyone have any idea what hotel will be used as the Olivia host hotel?  Getting excited!
