SunsetSeaR...you will not have any worries about being the only one...there were over 200 solos on the last cruise!!
And Olivia always takes great care of everyone aboard...it just doesn't get any better than an Oliviacation!!!

I am also coming solo - I've heard it's a blast and they do a great job coordinating singles events to provide opportunities for people to meet.  I've been thinking about this for years but just couldn't get my schedule to line up.  Can't wait for the trip to finally get here!

Until I found this page, I was worried I'd be the only single lady in this cruise... I'm so glad to see single women will be on this cruise, I would hate to be the only one! And it's great to hear that Olivia will do the compatibility matching for roommates. I think I'm really going to do this!!!! So excited!

This is my first cruise ever and my first vacation that I’m going solo.  This should be an interesting adventure for me.

You will have agreat time and meet many new friends. I have been on several, although I am going on my first true 'Solo" in June. Not only is Olivia very respectful in trying to match roomates, they also keep an extra cabin or two in case things just don't work out. On my last trip, one of my new friends had to move cabins because of compatability, it all went very well. They really try to make all the trips low drama. Enjoy! We'll see you there!

Ha!  Love this topic; snoring definitely should be a category for sorting out the singles.  In fact, my wife snores ... oh well, better not go there.

On the last cruise we where on with our solo friends they chose not to share with each other cos they wanted the adventure of sharing with someone they did not know! Worked out really well , they had pretty perfect matches, similar ages etc, even similar party habits , early rises with other early rises and the late nighters together. Don't know how Olivia managed that  match soo well lol

What I have been asked when organising groups and somthing I would need to know myself if I ever travel solo, is .....   can Olivia match up snorers and non snorers. People who snore are embarresed they will keep roommates awake and non snorers are terrified they may  end up with a snorer! How ever considerate you are about others needs, been as quiet as you can , you can't help snoring!

Ladylaw...most do like to save on the cost and also have the adventure of having a roommate...many great friendships have been formed that way...and a few even more!

But there are also those who like to have their own privacy and pay the extra.

Olivia will try and match you up age wise...drinker or not...smoker or not

One thing to remember...you don't spend much time in your room there's always way too much happening!!!

Hi Ladylaw, there are always solos on the trips and we have a blast. I just returned a few months ago from my very first Olivia holiday. I enjoyed myself so much I've booked many others since. Its nice to be in such friendly company and we laughed all the way there and back, just be prepared for a good time and the first of many holidays to come. Jackie

Hi. I am in my early 50's and just came out-yes, quite a late bloomer!  I always thought those crushes that I had on my best friends was what everyone else felt towards their friends. Fast forward a few decades and I had an "ah ha" moment-any everything finally clicked. I have heard that Olivia Cruises are wonderful and would like to go on one-but I will be traveling solo-are there many solo cruisers going? I don't want to be the only one without a significant other.  Are there any other solos going?  Please let me know!  Thanks!!
