Hey Cajun Girls,

More Cajun girls here from Louisiana.  We say "go for it"! The Olivia experience is absolutely worth it!  We have done large cruises, small cruises, and resorts.  Resorts are our favorite.  We have never been to this one, but are SO lookiing forward to it because everyone who has been says it is one of the best.

We were at this resort in 2009. It was fabulous!!! The resort staff were very attentive, rooms were great, no issues with cleanliness. The food was good for all inclusive. The pool bar had the best guacamole I think I've ever had. We waited patiently for Olivia to offer this resort again. We booked it again right after we received the trip announcement e-mail. We've also been to Columbus Isle and Hawaii, and I think PV is still our favorite. It was our first Olivia trip, though, so we may be a little partial.

My wife & I were there with Olivia in 2007 & had a fantastic time! The service, to the last staffer, was excellent. Even the excursion folks were great. Of course, the Olivia staff are beyond compare but at this resort, we didn't need to call on them even once. I don't recall having any problems with cleanliness & if the walls were paper thin, either our neighbours weren't enjoying each other in their rooms or were while we were out & likewise, they were out when we were having our fun!

I'm a 'hardcore' camper~an emergency blanket & maybe a match & I'm good to go. My wife's idea of camping/roughing it is a 3 1/2 Star hotel. This resort was my first experience of a place like this & I coped really well despite my pre-trip trepidation. My wife was in her glory!!!

We're going to (belatedly) celebrate my 50th birthday & both of our wedding anniversaries (Canada & California).

This is a 5 Star resort!!! My recommendation is COME, COME, COME!!! You won't be disappointed.

We were thinking about booking this for my 50th birthday.  Has anyone been here before?  I was reading the reviews on Travelocity and for the most part they are pretty good reviews.  I was concerned with the few bad ones however...complaining about the food, the hotel walls being paper thin, the tubs being dirty, etc....  Can anyone shed some light for me before I spend the money and book this vacation.  Thanks in advance for your advice.
