Hi - I have lived in The Villages for over eight years and still love it.  There will be about 50 Villagers on the cruise.  Any and all of us will be more than happy to talk with you.  The only way to really understand the Villages is to visit.  It really defies explanation.  We have a very large gay/lesbian population.  We have our own club that meets monthly in one of the many rec centers.  I just DJ'd our Halloween dance Fri.  We have our Christmas and New Year's parties coming up.  Parties are held in one of our seven regional rec centers.  Usually have about 300 people attend.  Nearest guess as to total lesbian population is over 1,000.   Very easy to meet people.  Come to softball, pickleball, bowling, basketball or any of the other sports activities.  Also, we have a web site.  Check out www.rainbowfamilyvillagesfl.org/

Am thinking about buy in The Villages...would love to chat with any present or past Villagers or folk who know the details of living there (not the glossy feel good stuff...the truth!)

We used to live in Summerfield, and moved to NC 2 years ago. My partner worked in the Villages. Looking forward to a great time!

We know there are going to be lots of gals from The Villages, FL on this cruise.  How about getting in toucch and making some plans for a few gatherings on board.  We are Patty and CIndy in a G room on the promenade deck.  Will get our official room number shortley.  Other Villagers, let us know where you'll be.
