Still works!!!   Will be in town, PV, Friday then will make way out to the resort.  Have some business need to take care of Friday in town, so see you when I get out to the resort on Sat. AM.

So this is my 2nd trip with Olivia.  First was Cancun in May.  Shall we say I 'drank the kool-aid' pretty quickly.

After booking Cancun, I booked Punta Cana in May 2013, and Ireland,British Isles, Scotland July 2013. 

 When in Cancun I won a 2 or 1 trip.  Had a choice of Alaska, or PV.  Hmmm warm or cold.  I picked warm.

So offered my roommate from Cancun to help split the cost.  She said yes!

So here I come!  Celebrating my 50th birthday.

When my wife (Alison) & I (Lauri) were there in 2007, there was also an excursion booking table set up in the lobby. The company was Vallarta Adventures. We went deep sea fishing (caught Blue Marlin, tuna, dorado, wahoo), snorkelling, sunset cruise...I think we were on the water 4 of our 7 days so I'm forgetting one. We had the Best time! 

When we did the Olivia cruise from San Diego a couple of years later, we docked in PV & I could see one of the Vallarta Adventures boats docked next to our ship. I went to it & the same Captain was at the helm as had been on most of our excursions in 2007. I went to him, said Hello, reminded him where/when we'd met & he remembered me! I'm hoping that Vallarta Adventures is still doing a great job with Olivia & still Olivia's preferred excursion supplier. You know I'll be looking for that captain too! One of the things that was soooo great about him is that he was very willing to talk about his life, his family, his children (we had brought kids' stuff~yoyos, hair ties, pencils with Canadian flags on them, matchbox toys etc). We felt like we got to see a bit of the more human side of PV & not just the Tourista side.

 If you're checking these threads out trying to decide if you want to come on the trip, don't wait any longer! BOOK IT!!! 

We are sooooo pumped about trying out a resort...more so with our O family!!!!!!!

Thank you both - and yes we will all be together in her "place in the sun"   OMG I am so glad that there will be people that we have met before.  I am going as a solo but right now I know that I will still be a part of the "couples family".  Love you guys and again "Thank you" - and it is still

My heart goes out to you for your loss.  Losing her, was also our loss! I know I will miss seeing her face this third time at a resort, yet I am so glad that you will be there again. 

I look forward to seeing you, if you see me first, please come and get  a hug!  I will be doing my Meet and Greet Party the first day so please stop by!

Hey Debra & Lynette!!!!  We're still waiting for y'alls' visit (with the kids).  LOL  So happy to hear y'all are going on this one.  So are we and we are also doing Hawaii in October.  (Barcelona in July too).  I know, we've totally lost our minds!!!!  That's the main reason I still can't retire.

We cannot wait to see old friends and meet new ones. This will be our 5th Olivia trip when we do Vallarta Palace again in 2012. We loved this resort and we never left for the excursions. The staff were great and hope that some of them are still there. We met Amy and Staci from Bellingham, WA on this trip and have remained friends. Awesome couple and alot of fun. Can't wait to see you guys in Hawaii.
