Hi Ladies!

My partner and I also booked this cruise while on the Mexican Riviera cruise! I've been to Alaska but my partner has not. I'm so excited she will get to see how beautiful this destination is!

1. where are you from? New York City, NY

2. I (Eichele) am a Patient Care Associate(Nurse Tech) Samaya is a Surgical Technician. We work at the same hospital.

3. Where have you been with Olivia? 3 trips- Mexican Riviera, Greece & Turkey and the Caribbean.

4. What excursions are you considering for the Majestic? Not sure yet, but would love to try dogsledding.

Great to see old friends and meet new ones!

Hi everyone! We just booked this one while aboard the Mexican Riveria trip last week and we are sooo excited. Well, I'm excited--my wife is just worried about freezing her *** off.

1.  Where are you from?     Panama City, Florida

2.  What do you do?     I (Carrie) teach history at a local community college & my wife Brendin is a civil engineer/comedian

3.  Where have you been with Olivia?     5 trips: one Mexican Riveria & the rest Caribbean

4.  What excursions are you considering for the Majestic?  I haven't looked yet, but I am very excited about it!

Hi everyone,

Meridith and i are now officially booked on this cruise.  It's our first cruise, our first Olivia trip and our first trip to Alaska.  We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary right in the middle of the cruise -- we couldn't think of a more fun way to celebrate than on a cruise to Alaska on a ship full of dykes.  And I'll have had my 60th birthday a few months earlier, so this is a two-way celebration for us.

We are wicked excited (to use a favorite Boston expression)!  To continue the questions (out of order of course):  we are both from Cambridge MA; Judith works as a consultant/trainer in a university HR department.  Meridith is a clinical pharmacist in a community hospital in Cambridge. 

We've started looking at excursions.  We'll have to see which things we can do given our limited mobility.  We're sure we'll find plenty!

By the way, Meridith is on the left and Judith (Zisseh) is on the right.  This is the picture we published in the Boston Globe newspaper to announce our 25th anniversary celebration.  We may have been the 1st dyke couple to do this; we hoped we would start a trend...

Hey there!

I signed up for this one, while on the Mexican Riviera cruise, too!

1) I'm from Bowie, Maryland.

2) By day, I'm an environmental engineer with the MD Transportation Authority.  By night, a standup comedian.

3) I've been to the Eastern Carribean (2009), Western Carribean (2010), Sun Cruise (St, Maarten, St. Thomas, 2010), and Mexican Riviera.  (With this Alaska Cruise, I'm finally a WOW!)

4) I haven't had a chance to look at the excursions, but I'm told the helicopter ride is amazing.

Can't wait!

This is my first cruise with Olivia and my first time to Alaska! I've wanted to take this cruise since a friend of mine went in about 94 or so..... the timing was finally right! Traveling with 3 freinds & looking forward to making even more!

        1. Where am I from?  Tucson, AZ

        2. What do I do?  I used to be a Respiatory Care Practitioner

       3. What excursions am I considering? kayaking sounds fun.... plus...... who knows......

We're happy to include you on the Alaskan cruise -- welcome to the thread.  We know you had a blast this past week on the Mexican Riveria Cruise -- we did it a few years ago with Olivia.  All Olivia cruises are fantastic in our eyes.  Geeked

I have FINALLY booked the Alaska cruise!!!    Yay!!!

1) Where are you from?            Columbus, Ohio

2) What do you do?                  Retired from The Ohio State University (6 yrs ago)

3) Where have you been with Olivia?     2008 35th Anniversity Bash, Eastern Caribbean; 2010 Western Caribbean; 2012 Western Caribbean, and now the 2012 Majestic Alaska Cruise

4) What excursions?           Don't know for sure - would love to pan for gold (and find about 6 ounces!!!  lol)

I am just toooo excited to be able to cross this wonderful excursion off my bucket list!!!  Thanks Olivia!!!  Can't wait to meet everyone and party hearty in Alaska!!
