This cruise will be pretty much at the end of hurricane season and the risk of hurricanes is minimal.  When we went on the Mexican Caribbean cruise a couple of years ago in October they had a freak Pacific hurricane close to where we were.  The captain just left the port a little earlier to be sure we were well ahead of it and we didn't have any problems.  If you think about it, anytime you go anywhere in Mexico there is always the risk of earthquakes.  So don't worry, be happy with the Olivia family.  I guarantee you WILL enjoy it.

All I can say is "Just Do It..."

You will be surrounded by friends as soon as you get on the boat...and u will feel safe and happy and loved for the whole week..and thats a feeling you don't want to miss...I too am looking forward to another Olivia cruise...

I'm contemplating going on the cruise with a friend but have a few concerns - specifically, hurricane season.

Any tips, words of encouragement...lol  I don't think this will impact my decision to go but looking forward to expanding and meeting other single women on the cruise.

I am very glad to  meet another solo gal. You are in for the time of your life!  This will be my second cruise, My first cruise was in november of 2008, let's just say I got very emotional leaving the ship......even teared up for a minute. The love that I received that week was unmeasurable. I had never been around so many interesting and positive people in my life. It was very relaxing to be around so many lesbians of all ethnic backgrounds who just wanted to know your story and have a great time !.......not to mention there were alot of HOT women too !. Nice eye candy ! I had not partied like that in a long time. I heard that the last cruise with a Halloween Party was " OFF THE HOOK " , so get your sexy costume ready. Be ready to dance and party into the wee hours of the morning, Don't be nervous about being a solo either, they take very good care of you and by the second day, you will have met people that  you will hopefully have as friends the rest of your life. Welcome to the group. I hear the solo groups are great so if you come alone you will not be alone unless you chose to be. As of what to bring we always pack to much. I have not been on this cruise line but we usually bring one nice outfit to wear and then what is comfortable you you and your style. you will see everything from formal dresses  and tuxes to jeans shorts. The days are relaxed and some people like to dress up at night but it is really up to you.

We always bring something to decorate our door of the ship.pic of our dogs or something fun. Sometimes it helps find you room we usually hang something we can see when we look down the hall. They have theme nights but we don't know what till closer to the sail date. We have a list i can e-mail to you when I find it if you want.

Your going to have a great time and lots of folks will suggest lots of things Hope to meet you onthe ship
