The EMT's did tell us we did a good job and that it was really nothing we could do. I was surprised by that because I hadnt thought of it that way. I guess you get caught up. especially being my first experience. well, its back to work tomorrow. lol  thanks, tc.

What is NEO? Fully retired lol. Mr. Bryant i like that.  Good for your  brother, he knows who to cheer for (Lakers) lol!!!

Sorry to hear about your CPR experience.  He had alot of wounds, where it sounds like it would have been a miracle anyway if he lived.  I had one about 3 years ago involving a 1 year old little girl.  She didnt make it either but it turned out to be a SIDS death but I feel like there could have been more I could have done sometimes.  The investigators were great on my incident because they made it a point to let me know that there was nothing I could have done to save her and it wasn't my fault.  So I've been ok now.

I am actually in East Cleveland which is smaller than Cleveland but we have the same crime Cleveland does. We border cleveland. I played ball in junior college (NEO) and at Cleveland State. I am now fully retired!!! LOL I dont watch basketball until playoffs but I do like Lebron and Mr. Bryant!! My brother is a die hard Lakers fan.

Had a homicide Tuesday. Tried to give him CPR but he died. He was shot 4 times in the head and 4 times in the upper torso. It was my first time actually administering CPR. Was able to get him breathing but he didnt make it with the extensive injuries. Sad day for me.

Thanks for the welcome. I figured that everyone was pretty busy working during the holidays.  I'm hoping more ladies join this site and start chatting.  This is a great way to network.  How long have you been with Cleveland PD?  Isn't Cleveland pretty rough just like Los Angeles? I've never been to any part of Ohio. I bet you have stories. I'm a semi-retired basketball player so I love Lebron James. He's great and now that he has Shak-Daddy, maybe you guys can get a championship. Of course, my team is the Lakers, so good luck.  Anyway, chat with ya soon.
