First trip.....bring along everything you think you might need on this trip.....feel free with Olivia!

Second trip.....leave half that stuff at home.....feel more free with Olivia!

Third trip......pack only the things you need for this trip.....feel really really free with Olivia!

We too are first timers onOlivia, but have heard fabulous reviews. WE ARE REALLY EXCITED!..We are coming from the Colorado area..anyone else?

Just booked on the cruise. This is my first time and at the same time I am doing it solo. I am looking forward to the trip both because of the places as well as hopefully making new friends.

Hi all, I just pulled up Jill Cruise's Oct. report on Greece & Turkey where Jill explains about dress and fomal nights and dress for the excursions. Hope this is helpful......It is under, "WHO IS COMING TO GREECE & TURKEY.....2010 WoooooHooooo!

Thanks Julie Smile I take it we'll be packing and unpacking a few times before we're ready to go Smile The temprature will vary a bit too. Istanbul and around the northern Aegean Sea might be chilly in October, while Rhodes still is warm. Last time I (Aina) was in Athens I actually fainted from dehydration when I was on top of the Acropolis in the middle of July Embarrassed. I visited Ephesus in April a few years back, and it was below 20 degrees celsius. Might be a bit more in October. Nice tepreature for sightseeing.

Just 9 months left and we're meeting up in Istanbul. Only thing bad about this trip is that it is way too short! Big Smile

Anita & Aina, Happy new Year to you too!

Just one quick comment...with Olivia there's no strict dress code. They usually have one semi formal night at dinner but it's a case of wearing what you feel comfortable in. Some wear dresses etc but many wear a pair of dress pants & top/blouse/shirt. Some wear jeans & tee shirt. It's important to remember to "Feel Free" & wear whatever makes you comfortable.

On some cruises they have a theme night. e.g. White party, where everyone dresses in white. Or, a theme relative to the port of call we happen to be visiting. But this is a fairly small cruise so maybe they wont. We don't normally know until approx. a month before the trip.
