Thanks all. I have tried to rejoin the world of the living, and am back at work today after taking Thurs & Fri off last week. I still feel like a truck ran me over, but at least my fever finally broke. Was 102+ for 4 days! Sweats/chills/aches, etc. This has been just a crappy flu. -I've had flu before, and this was almost as bad as I ever had it. This past spring was even worse (much worse actually), but otherwise this one is at the top. Of course, I think this one and the one I got in the spring is one and the same, just slightly mutated. ;)
But, there is good news....(in my book, there always is a positive side to everything!!!)
--Now we won't have to worry about the swine flu keeping us from our cruise!!!!!!!!!!! :D

On a more serious note, I am taking antibiotics and watching to be sure that I don't develop a secondary lung infection, which is what is really doing people in, not the flu itself. Weaselboy is handling this one pretty smoothly too. Just wiped out/tired mostly.
Be careful everyone. This is a bad flu, and not "mild" as they would like you to believe. Stay safe!
