I have a friend who was using her cell last year in both Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo…she had Verizon.

Not sure what international plan she had or what you might need to do to have roaming there…probably best to call them to be sure.

We are so excited to go to Mexico too!  This will be our first Olivia trip.  We will be celebrating Amy's 40th (although it's in February) and our 11 yr (Jan 22nd) anniversary.  This will be the first time away from our 4 yr old son.  Does anyone know if we get cell phone service where we'll be?  If so, does Verizon go there?  We can't wait to meet new people!

Awesome!! Sounds like there will be a lot of us celebrating a birthday:) I can't think of a better way to spend a January birthday! We are looking forward to meeting new friends and our first Olivia trip. The countdown has begun at our house!!

Good for you! We are returning because it was so beautiful and so much fun this past January.  We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.  I, too, will be celebrating a birthday.  See you soon!

yes, we did the caribbean cruise this year. Had a wonderful time.

our wedding was nov 9,2008. Since I really don't like being on the high seas, have decided to try the resort trip this time.

Have my wife's permission to go solo as she is in school and is working. This will be a birthday bash for me.
