Both! But since my spouse doesn't golf, I'll need to find someone to play with.... We're thinking of extending the trip even beyond the vacation stretchers, since this is a destination we've never been to, but has remainined on our "life list." We do love this ship though, traveled on it for many an Olivia cruise...Nice to Rome, Rome to Venice..its a favorite.

I think castles are more our thing than golf, but I'm glad the golfers will have a chance to play in such wonderful surroundings!

Welcome aboard, poolqueen! We would be afraid to shoot a game of pool with you because we are both amateurs, but used to play frequently. Had a pool table upstairs in our home but lost it in a fire a couple of years ago. I am an LPC & Middle School Counselor and soon to be retired, I hope. Not so sure that will happen if we keep booking these trips. LOL

Would love to play golf but really want to see those castles. Just came back from the Scandanavia Russia trip. Amazing!!! Can't wait to see ireland and Scotland. My maternal grandfather's family is from Ireland and am really interested in finding out more while I am there. Have always loved celtic music. I am a pool player and really would love to play some pool or snooker over there. That would be awesome. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Most definitely castles. But as many of you have said this kind of trip has been on our bucket list for a while. We will go on our first trip in Oct. PV. I do believe someone said Olivia was addictive..... Guess you were right and we haven't even been on our first trip yet!

Golf courses and castles! There are some great golf courses along the cruise route and I'm up for experiencing 18 hole courses when possible. Castles and seaside towns also sound awesome.

Probably castles. I just put down my deposit for this list. I haven't really had a chance to do much traveling in my life due to a variety of reason, and I am just about to go on my first Olivia trip on May 5th to Cancun. Once I saw this trip announced I just had to go. If you were to ask me what country I would want to visit my answer would be Ireland and Scotland. So this was a no brainer.

So far I am signed up for 3 (including this one) trips on Olivia and I haven't even been on one yet. LOL

We like both. I suggested they offer a couple of nine hole options so we can golf andnot miss the sights.

We're really glad this popped up when it did. Scotland (and Ireland) have been high on our bucket list. I'd been investigating going to the Edinburgh Tatoo summer 2013 but this beat that idea out. I think Roni was just humoring me about going to the Tatoo - she knows how much I like a good marching band. She jumped at this cruise instead!

Well - both. Kathy loves to golf and has been to Saint Andrews with her family to play golf and wanted to see the rest of the area. I love to travel and love the idea of this romantic sailing ship. We can't wait to see the excursions available - Looking forward to planning this trip.

I'm so excited to be going on this trip! I'm 1/2 Irish, my grandmother on my mother's side was born there. I'll be so happy to finally be able to visit her homeland. Not a golfer, but anything else Irish will be my "cup of tea", including a Guinness or two and maybe a wee bit of Irish whiskey! It's a long time to wait, but I'll be waiting patiently. Kate

This has been on the top of our bucket list too! In fact, I think the email from Olivia started out that way, "Dear Lauren, You told us this was on your bucket list..." Cait is Irish and English, and I've been a lover of all things Celtic (literature, poetry, people) for a long time.We are so excited to have booked this trip- and look forward to meeting you all!

Neither one. I'm Irish, and my partner is Scottish, so we've been asking Olivia for these two countries for years!

We're with y'all 100%, plus the Celtic charm and music, Irish brogue, Irish beer, Viking history, and Nessie. This trip has always been on our bucket list. SO excited!!!!
