Hey Malinda, I did the whole door decorating thing once, and once is enough, travelling light remember....trying being the word....lol have now figured a good case within the case solution, packed, and ready to be tagged.....see ya soon.

Apparently the competition is ON!!!!

Oh, no, now I really have to figure out what I'm doing!! Just remember the '70s theme...you may, or may not, recognize who's in the pics!

Loved checking out all the decorated doors on the Alaska cruise!

Tami...you and So did a heck of a job judging the doors on the Alaska cruise!

Can't wait for the party to begin!!!

I finally have a few things for my door....still gotta put it together though. Just bought ribbons for the Door Decorating CONTEST!!! Prizes...well....that will have to be a decision for this week. Loved having the contest on the Alaska Cruise in September....So I'm @ it again.

Hey Jackie...Me thinks you might be trying to hang stuff a little too heavy for your blutack...I've got some stuff that might work for ya! I've just been throwing some pics in a stack and will decide later what the heck to do about the door. My cabin-mate said to decorate away! Just days till you'll be jumping on that plane for your flight over here! See you soon!

Hey Malinda, mine door is gonna be empty if my cell mate hasn't bothered, the only good thing about decorations is you can find your room real easy, but a pain in the rear to have to keep sticking the stuff back on, putty as you called, blutack from where I am, holds it for awhile, but not all week lol

I just finished a few things I want to use to decorate our door. My partner thinks I am overdoing it but I say the more the better! Ooo! Just got an idea, gotta go!!

Hi everyone...

I LOVE to decorate our door. Have done it on all our cruises.......Really hope we get alot of you to decorate. On our last cruise ( Alaska - Sept, 2012) Soraya & I had a door decorating contest. It was great fun as we had ribbons for the top three & a prize for #1. May or may not do it this time around. I've had alot on the go & haven't even gotten our door ready this time. ( can you believe THAT Malinda?? ) Someone asked what kinds of things can go on the doors. I'd say.... anything that interests you. We use our names, family & pet photos, things Caribbean, flags, photos of past cruises or crazy things that will stick up. As Malinda said....the tacky stuff can be bought at any $ store. I've seen it in white or blue. Just make sure the "stuff" you use will come off CLEAN. Also included sticky notes & pen or better yet an erase board & pen so your peeps can leave you a message. Looking forward to seeing all the fabulous doors & check out ours.....we're in room 7093. See ya soon.

I don't think the cabin doors are metal...if they are, they're not "magnetic enough" to hold much if anything! It's best to bring some "Scotch Removable Mounting Putty" or "HandyTak Reusable Adhesive" (can be found at most Dollar Stores) or something along those lines...we don't want to damage the doors in any way...and the putty stuff is easily removed! Tape may leave marks or residue when removed, so it's best not to use that.

Can't wait to see everyone's decorations!!!
