Hi There. Both Holland America and Olivia have special needs desks which you could call and ask to speak to a rep. Call Holland and America for info on excursions and call Olivia for signing up to their special needs as there is a meeting when we all board the ship. My partner is blind and she has done this for us. She would would of replied sooner than me but the screen reader lets her read the screen but does not let her post herself. So i logged on after her nags to reply you - lol

Which excursions are "accessible"?

This will be our first cruise so we want to enjoy it fully but I'm in a wheelchair (I can walk enough to transfer on and off a bus and other short jaunts). Can anyone with experience on these excursions comment on whether any are or are not wheelchair accessible? We're interested in the clamshell/sitting on the beach experience -- is there a long walk through the sand to get to the beach. Is the clam shell area near facilities or off in the north 40?

How about the Olivia Giving excursion? It sounds ok but are there any hidden problems or barriers to look out for?

Are the See and Sea or other water based sightseeing tours set up for wheelchair boarding?

Does the Aruba Butterfly Farm tour allow wheelchairs?

Any comments or info would be helpful!
