I lived all over NoVa back in the late 60s, then moved to Va Beach for 17 years and now retired in this area. Did you do any particular type horseback riding while in Staunton, such a hunt club riding or endurance riding? It really is a beautiful area and only 1.5 to 2 hrs from most anything you want to do.
