A few months to go!

Hello, fellow Olivia Anniversary Cruise (second week) members.

I'm sure Evie & I met some of you earlier this year on the cruise from Tampa. We had a fabulous time, Evie's seasickness notwithstanding. LOL (I don't get seasick so it's easy for me to laugh. We are trying to find out about some shot she can have right at the beginning of the cruise where you sleep a little bit but then you're good to go the rest of the trip.) We also have a friend who will be flying to Lauderdale for the cruise. (We have a veranda & she's a solo, so she will be hanging out with us part of the time. Believe me, she's a great gal in her 50's and willing to try just about anything.)

We will leave a few days early for Ft. Lauderdale because we drive and the trip down and back is part of our vacation. We have a great apartment sitter who is thrilled to stay at our place while we are away.

Evie is having surgery next month so we are really looking forward to our vacation. A former New Yorker, I moved to Cincinnati in 2007 and love it here. We are both retired. Evie is a native of Cincinnati. Just wanted to say, "Hi, Y'all." Last year, I would meet someone at breakfast or wherever. We would start talking and then say, "Hey, I remember you from the group." One time, Evie was resting so I went up to breakfast alone. These women were so funny that I asked if I could join them. They said, "Sure" and sure enough, one of them from Philadelphia had been in the cruise group on-line.
