Cruise video?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a video available of the performances? I noticed that every single performance was recorded.

I'd love to have some of that for posterity. Especially the Ginny, Theresa, Cris, Meg, Judy conversation, Billie Jean and oh who am I kidding, I want it all.

I posted on Olivia's FB page but haven't seen a response.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the MORNING SHOW with Elvira Kurt!!!!!!!! I wish I had known it was on from the beginning. I looked forward to waking up with Elvira every morning. And honestly besides making me laugh, I learned about the art on the ship (hadn't even noticed the pieces before she made me aware of them), the door decorations (the band aid, and hubba hubba door), and the areas on the ship we don't get to see (including Judy's cabin). Incredible Time

Well, that was our first Olivia vacation and we had such an amazing time. While the cruise experience itself was great, (also a first), the experience of sharing our vacation with so many amazing pioneers of women's, and gay and lesbian rights was humbling. We had no idea what to expect and were completely blown away with the amount of 'her'story on board, not just from the entertainers and ladies of Olivia, but from the individuals we met at dinner, poolside, etc. I want to thank each of you that we met, or did not meet for your continuous role in the fight for equality. Because of you, I have not endured discrimination as a biracial lesbian and I was able to compete in college athletics. I was able to get an education. I will take the torch and continue the fight. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and inspired to do more. And I thought I was just going on vacation. :-)

Military/Veteran/Uniformed Officer Happy Hour 5 Feb

I would like to invite military, veterans, and uniformed officers for an informal, no-host Meet & Greet on Tuesday, 5 Feb, 5pm-ish, before dinner ("At Sea" day). Looking at the ship layout, probably the Ocean Bar is a good space. I will put a note up at the Olivia information table confirming the location.

This cruise includes Tracey and my own first "Formal Night" cruise since the repeal of Don't Ask/Don't Tell-- I look forward to wearing my dress uniform and no longer having to hide! Thank you to all the Advocates who made this possible.

Decorate your cabin door

Does anyone decorate their cabin door? We went on an RSVP cruise with 2 friends (men) many years ago and everyone had their doors decorated. Our last Olivia cruise I decorated our door. Some had their doors decorated but most did not. Alot of women came up to us and loved the door decorations and they said ty because it was easier to fine their cabin.

So is anyone up for this? I don't want to be the only one.

Hi to Everyone asking about Edie. I am not officially speaking for her but we are travel mates so i'll share what i know. First, we went dancing with friends last night, SAGE dance in NYC and of course she lasted longer than I. She is very, very excited to see all of you and reunite with friends made on the Alaska trip. Edie is not part of the Olivia entertainment roster on this trip. Just a guest like you and me. Well, maybe not exactly like you and me. She would love for the film to be shown sometime during the week but it can only be done "officially" because of contract arrangements and needs permission from the film makers and Olivia. Unofficially she wanted to know how many Lesbians could she get in her cabin to watch the film on DVD. LOL. We understand that each of us will be given a wrist band that tells our show time. There are nine of us travelling together and we'd like to see the shows together. At the moment, six of us are assigned to the late show and three of us to the early show. Are there three women out there who would be willing to switch the early for the late show? Does anyone know whether it's something that can be done as simply as just exchanging wrist bands once we get on board? We'd love to see the shows as a group.

Holland America allows you to bring on as much wine/champagne as you can carry on. You cannot put wine bottles in your checked luggage. This is wonderful because if I recall correctly their wine selection was mediocre and anything worthy was overpriced (of course). Alma and I are flying from California on 2/2 but as soon as we get to Florida we're going to hunt down a grocery store and buy wine and champagne. I'll be the woman with the mimosa at all hours. Can't wait!

My name is Gina and I just got the word that I will be the Solos Coordinator on this trip.... and I am beyond excited! My friend Val will also

share the awesome job of ensuring that your trip is the best. For those of you that have traveled as a solo you know what I mean.. To the new solo travelers, I promise this trip will be awesome.. The Solos group is open to those who are traveling without a partner on the trip.That can mean that you are single, or maybe not, but your partner could not make the trip....
